1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Brivtex, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Brivtex is a personal productivity tool that generates AI-powered summaries of YouTube videos for your private use. Summaries are generated from publicly available transcripts using a large language model.

You can also create posts that combine your own text, private images, and links to public web pages. When you add a link, Brivtex fetches the public page to read its details and text. Brivtex does not bypass logins or paywalls, and does not guarantee that details or text can be extracted from any particular site. You must have the rights to the text and images you upload, and to ask Brivtex to summarize them.

3. Permitted use

  • Brivtex is for personal, non-commercial use.
  • You may use summaries for personal notes, research, and study.
  • You must not use Brivtex to build a competing transcript archive, redistribute summaries at scale, or resell access to summaries generated by Brivtex.

YouTube video transcripts are the intellectual property of their respective creators and/or YouTube. Brivtex uses transcripts solely to generate a personalised summary for the requesting user. We do not store or display raw transcripts publicly. By using Brivtex you agree not to use summaries in any way that infringes the rights of content creators or violates YouTube's Terms of Service.

5. Account responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others.
  • You must not use Brivtex for any unlawful purpose.

6. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis via Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are at our discretion. Contact us at support@brivtex.com for refund requests.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Summarization may fail for videos without transcripts, private videos, links whose pages cannot be read, or due to third-party API limitations. Image uploads may be paused temporarily while storage limits reset. No refund is owed for individual failed summarizations.

8. Limitation of liability

Brivtex is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Brivtex after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
